Individuals wishing to travel the entrepreneurial trail may benefit significantly from this six week course. The course objective: to assist with training and research to develop a business plan.
A solid business plan is required to seek financial assistance as well as provides direction for the business. Participants will complete all market research, data and financial analysis.
Academic: Grade 12 or equivalent
Work experience review on an individual case by case basis in lieu of Grade 12
Must be 18 years of age or older with basic computer skills.
Course Outline and Information:
Each 5 day week consists of a three-day theoretical component with instructor lead classes and a two-day practical component to allow participants to work on completing their business plan.

- Starting a business
- Market analysis
- Marketing plan and sales strategy
- Ownership, management & personnel
- Operational and technical plan
- Estimating project costs & sources of financing
- Financial plan
- Putting it all together

Six week program, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
