Pre-Apprenticeship Technical Service Agent

I.T. – Contact Centre
The Ontario Women’s Directorate has recently approved OSTTC to offer the Pre-Apprenticeship Employment Training for Technical Service Agent. This program is open to women interested in entering the Contact Centre industry and wishing to gain the required skills and education. The students will expand their knowledge through both academic and hands on experience. This program is funded through the Ontario Women’s Directorate.

Admission Requirement:
Require a formal interview with Administrative officer
OSSD or equivalent [GED] Women at least 18 years of age
Be a resident of Ontario
Eligible to work in Ontario
Demonstrate the necessary skills, aptitudes and commitment to succeed in the Information Technology industry

Course Outline and Information

Employment & Workplace Readiness

  • Work ethics, atitiude, team building, resume writing, workplace safety etc.
  • Academic upgrading
  • ESPORT training
  • Communication skills and analytical skills

Level 1 Apprenticeship Training

  • Computers and Operating Systems
  • Customer service training
  • I.T. skills, and contact centre training
  • Gain hands on experience working with an employer

Hours and Duration:
Registration Deadline: May 16th, 2012
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
38 Week program – May 28th 2012 to March 1st 2013
