Narrative Summary

In Canada, the Eco-Tourism industry is booming. This program will prepare graduates for entry to this exciting and diverse fields. Over the course of four months, students will learn about wildlife; marketing; marketing; outdoor photography; safely managing groups; and many other relevant skills that graduates can immediately put to work in field.

Admission Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • High School Transcript and Resume
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Complete an Academic Assessment/ESPORT
  • Must be willing to work outdoors, physical activity, able to swim

  • Special Certifications [ Wild Edibles and Medicinal Plants, CPR/First Aid, Leave No Trace, Basic Canoeing Level 1, and Basic Kayaking Level 1]
  • Health and Safety Certifications [AODA, Excellence in Customer Service, Fall Protection Awareness, Workplace Violence and Harassment, Occupational Health and Safety for Workers]
