Narrative Summary

This 2-day course will provide participants with the certifications of First Aid and CPR.

This course will provide participants with the necessary skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children and babies. This includes the latest CPR guidelines and training on the use of the automated external defibrillator (AED).

Participants must be able to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps to achieve certifications in this course. Certifications are valid for 3 years from the date issued.

Admission Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or mature student.

  • Encouraged to dress comfortably as they will be required to perform CPR at ground-level.

  • A closed book examination or another version of testing will be completed at the end of day 2 and participants must receive a minimum passing mark of 75%

  • Must attend and participate 100% of the course to receive a certificate of completion 

Hours and Duration

Hours and duration: August 27th to August 28th, 2022 from 9am to 4pm.[In class instruction]

Registration Deadline

Deadline to register is August 12, 2022. All applications must be submitted before 4pm on the deadline date. Applications will be considered complete when ALL forms are filled in FULL and required documentation is provided.
