Get certified in Basic Kayak! This is the primary starting point and will focus on foundation skills and knowledge. Basic Kayak inspires participants to go on short paddling excursions in calm or sheltered waters. This course is certified through Paddle Canada.

Location: Chiefswood Park

Must be comfortable getting wet. There is no major swimming required but participants should have some comfort with water activities. All paddling and safety equipment will be provided by OSTTC. Participants should provide their own water shoes.
