In this 16-week employment and career-planning program, students will have 12-weeks of in-class learning focusing on developing skills to assist in employment readiness and work ethics, followed by the potential for a 4-week placement at the end of the program.
Our new and improved Employment Readiness program prepares participants for joining the workplace for the first time or re-entering the workplace by providing essential life skills, employability certifications, and workplace skills and ethics. Students will attend several skills and development workshops such as First Aid, WHMIS, Computers and Resume and Cover Letter writing. All lessons will center on employment situations and scenarios which will allow students to build upon strengths and weaknesses in a positive manner.
