This course will provide participants with the necessary skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children and babies. This includes the latest CPR guidelines and training on the use of the automated external defibrillator (AED). Participants must be able to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps to achieve certifications in this course. Certifications are valid for 3 years from the date issued.
Must be minimum 14 years of age.
Encouraged to dress comfortably as they will be required to perform CPR at ground-level.
A closed book examination or another version of testing will be completed at the end of day 2 and participants must receive a minimum passing mark of 75%.
Must attend and participate 100% of the course to receive a certificate of completion.
