• 7-week theory and practical training
• Conducted by Firestar Services Inc.
• Held at Six Nations Fire Training Academy (Station 5)
• Earn National ProBoard certification for:
  • NFPA 1001 Firefighter Level 1 & 2
  • NFPA 1072 Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations
• Canadian Red Cross Emergency Medical Responder

Applicants need:

• OSSD diploma or equivalent
• Class G Driver's License
• Clean criminal record
• Participate in an pre-intake interview with OSTTC, GREAT, and SN Fire
• Participate in a physical assessment and references checked
• Sponsorship secured

*Qualified candidates proceed to a physical fitness assessment and interview with Firestar.

This program will be a of 7 weeks of instruction comprising of both theory and practical skills training. All seven weeks of training will be conducted at the Six Nations Fire & Emergency Services Training Academy at Station 5.

Mandatory attendance all days

9:00am - 3:00pm
