Narrative Summary

The goal of this 16-week program is to equip students with the skills and expertise necessary to work in numerous human services settings. These include community programs, residential care, social service programs, early childhood and family centres, recreation and leisure services, gerontology programs, group homes, and other similar settings geared toward the prevention, intervention, and treatment of mental illness and addiction.


Admission Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or a mature student
  • Obtained a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Provide a High School transcript
  • Provide 2 pieces of valid photo ID
  • Interview with the Student Services Team
