This 13-week multi-disciplinary trades experience provides participants with a blended learning environment of theory, safety certifications and hands-on training. Some of the training provides accreditation recognized across the Province, so many of these experiences (i.e. Working at Heights, Powered Elevated Work Platforms) are useful wherever the apprenticeship candidates land in their careers.

• Obtained a High School Diploma or GED
• Provide a High School Transcript
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Interview with OSTTC Registrar
• Comfortable lifting heavy weight, manual labour and working in all weather conditions

• Students will explore several different Trades including:
  • Boilermaker
  • Welding
  • Residential Construction
  • Millwright
  • Plumbing
  • Steamfitting
